GUNTHER URBANO
NARRATIVE DESIGNER & GAME DEVELOPER
ABOUT ME
I'm Gunther, a Game Narrative Designer with a background in Game Design. I grew up marinating in cartoons, anime, manga, and video games. My creative endeavors began with afternoons drawing comics and making fun stories with my friends and family. The collaborative experience of creating characters and placing them in crazy worlds and scenarios eventually led me into developing interactive storytelling skills with RPG Maker XP games during high school.

I earned an Associate's Degree in Computer Science with the understanding that programming is a fact of life for game developers. I furthered his education and earned a BFA in Computer Game Design from George Mason University so to tighten my grasp of 2D and 3D game development tools and the game development process. I learned how to use more contemporary game engines like Unity3D and Unreal since starting college.
Currently, I have over 2 years of professional full-time experience in the game development space where I have been involved in the design and implementation of the story of a narrative-driven game under my belt.

My favorite video games include Super Smash Bros. Melee for the Gamecube, Katamari Damacy for the PlayStation 2, and Guilty Gear XX.
